In het natte seizoen zit er meestal meer sediment in het water, en het mindere zonlicht in die maanden draagt ook bij aan een donkerdere, troebelere kleur van het water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het zeeleven varieert niet veel tussen de twee seizoenen, hoewel de overvloedige waterbeweging in het natte seizoen - als er al iets is - meer zeeleven zou betekenen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Beste locaties om te duiken in Siargao<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Er zijn 4 belangrijke duiklocaties rond Siargao, en aangezien de plaatselijke duikschool, Palaka Siargao Dive Center, hun klanten naar alle locaties meenemen, krijgt u de kans om een mix van onderwaterwerelden te ervaren:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Blauwe Kathedraal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Palaka Dive - De Blauwe Kathedraal\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HKhc03C1YGo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Blue Cathedral ligt vlak voor de kust van Cloud 9 en is misschien wel de beroemdste duiklocatie in Siargao. De duikplaats ligt op een steenworp afstand van een van de kleine afgelegen eilandjes van Siargao, Rock Island, en is per boot vanaf General Luna in minder dan een half uur te bereiken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Met een gemiddelde diepte van 35 meter betekent duiken bij Blue Cathedral het verkennen van onderwatertunnels, bogen, rif, en oog in oog staan met tropische vissen zoals jackfish, keizers en barracuda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blue Cathedral is ook een van de meest uitdagende duikplekken van het eiland. Met open Pacifisch water en een lastige rotsingang is duiken bij Blue Cathedral het meest geschikt voor mensen met duikervaring (Palaka staat erop dat je eerst een 'check' duik maakt voordat ze je laten duiken bij Blue Cathedral).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De Lagune van het Zeereservaat<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Gelegen tussen het eigenlijke Siargao en de drie afgelegen eilanden (Guyam, Daku en Naked Island), barst deze duikplek in ondiep water van het prachtige koraal en de kleurrijke rifvissen. Je ziet er anemonen, hersenvissen, koolvissen en bokvissen, om er maar een paar te noemen. Er is zelfs een roze kikvorsvis die de Palaka duikers inmiddels goed kennen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Omdat het gebied relatief klein is en alle hoogtepunten dicht bij elkaar liggen (in combinatie met de gemakkelijke 12 meter diepte), is de lagune een van de meer beginnersvriendelijke duiklocaties rond Siargao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dona Dolores, JDK, en Daku Hills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Deze Pacific duikstekken zijn zeker de moeite waard, omdat ze het hele jaar door een vrij goed zicht hebben (de open Pacific wateren hebben minder last van de seizoensgebonden veranderingen in het zicht).
