Adventure Travel Blog and Outdoor Destination Guides
Welcome to Extreme Nomads, where adventure is our passion and adrenaline is our fuel. We are a team of sports enthusiasts who share a love for the great outdoors and the rush of extreme sports. Our journey began in 2017 when two travel addicts, Grace and Jim, started this project to help fellow adventurers discover the best spots around the world to pursue their passions.
Jim, born in Saint-Barth, has been a sailor, kitesurfer, wakeboarder, skateboarder, and snowboarder since childhood. He brings over a decade of videography experience, having worked with the Kiteboard Tour Asia and other top action sports organizations.
Grace, raised between the UK, US, and Ireland, holds a BA in International Commerce and Chinese Studies. She has worked as a presenter, director, co-producer, and narrator for three feature-length documentaries in the action sports and travel industries.
After three years of nomadic adventures, Jim and Grace parted ways in 2020. Grace returned to her hometown in Ireland and started a new business making macramé pieces. Jim moved back to the south of France to pursue new goals.
Despite their departure, the legacy of Extreme Nomads lives on. Today, a new generation of sports junkies has taken over the reins, continuing our mission to showcase the best extreme sports locations worldwide. While we are no longer affiliated with Jim or Grace, their influence can still be felt in our dedication to providing top-notch resources for extreme sports enthusiasts.
As we continue to grow and evolve under new ownership, we remain committed to providing the most exciting opportunities and destinations for adrenaline seekers around the globe. Join us on this wild ride, and let’s discover the world’s most extreme sports together!
