Insulation is essential. After all, what else is a jacket for other than keeping you warm? Making sure you have the correct insulation inside your jacket is the difference between just looking good and feeling good.
Having inadequate insulation is not only a recipe for an uncomfortable day out but can also result in getting ill. Sitting on a ski lift can get very cold without insulation which blocks the wind and snow.
